Prophet D.Y. Donkoh has publicly apologised to dancehall artist Shatta Wale after being arrested for making a prophecy about the musician’s death.
Authorities reportedly detained the pastor at his home following the circulation of a viral video in which he made the controversial prediction. The footage sparked significant backlash from both the public and social media users.
In the video, Prophet Donkoh claimed to have received two separate visions from God. In the first, he said Shatta Wale survived a violent attack and later gave thanks to God in a public setting. The second vision, however, portrayed a deadly incident involving three armed assailants who fatally shot the musician.
Following his arrest, the pastor expressed remorse and retracted his statements, emphasizing that he had no intention to cause panic or distress.
