Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has begun training with Villarreal ahead of the 2025/26 season, less than 24 hours after completing his move to the Spanish club.
Partey joined the Yellow Submarine as a free agent on Thursday, August 7, following his decision to part ways with Arsenal. He has signed a one-year contract with the option of an additional year, marking his return to Spain after leaving Atlético Madrid in 2020.
The Black Stars midfielder is expected to play a key role in Villarreal’s campaign as they prepare for the new season.
