A group of young NPP executives has picked up nomination forms for Dr. Bryan Acheampong to contest the party’s flagbearership.
The delegation visited the NPP headquarters in Accra before handing the forms to Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, former Tema West MP and campaign manager for the Bryan Acheampong Campaign.
“This is not just about picking forms; it is about the future of the NPP and the future of Ghana,” Mr. Ahenkorah said, hailing the move as a show of trust in Dr. Acheampong’s leadership.
Members of the group cited Dr. Acheampong’s achievements in public service particularly in agriculture as proof of his competence, discipline, and readiness to unite the party and secure victory in 2028.
The move gives Dr. Acheampong early momentum in what is expected to be one of the NPP’s most competitive primaries, with several high-profile contenders expected before the January 2026 vote.
