“I have financially sponsored my party more than anyone” – Bryan Acheampong blows horns

NPP Presidential candidate hopeful and Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Dr. Bryan Acheampong has asserted that no individual has financially supported the New Patriotic Party more than he has since its formation.

Speaking to a section of party loyalist, Acheampong challenged critics to name anyone who has contributed more than he has over the years.
“There is not a single person in the NPP who has financially sponsored the party more than I have since its formation. I just want to hear one name,” he said, underscoring his claim to unparalleled loyalty and commitment to the party’s sustenance.

In a recent social media post, Acheampong admitted, “The work others have done since the formation of the party, I cannot measure up… hence I may not be among the first 500 names,” but quickly added, he doubts that anyone in the party has supported the NPP financially more than he has since its formation.

While his admission of not being recognized among the “first 500 names” reflects modesty about his historical profile, his assertion of long-standing financial support aims to reinforce his loyalty and foundational commitment to the party’s survival and growth.

This comes at a time when internal party dynamics are intensifying, with grassroots delegates already shaping the contours of the flagbearer contest.
