Everton have secured the loan signing of England international Jack Grealish from Manchester City for the remainder of the 2025/26 season, the club announced on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old winger, who joined City from Aston Villa in a record £100 million deal in 2021, heads to Goodison Park in search of regular first-team football after a frustrating campaign under Pep Guardiola last season.
Renowned for his flair, creativity, and ability to unlock defences, Grealish made just 18 Premier League appearances in the 2024/25 season, scoring three goals and providing four assists. His addition is viewed as a significant boost to Sean Dyche’s squad as the Toffees look to improve their attacking output following a goal-shy campaign.
The loan agreement does not include an option to buy, with Grealish expected to return to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season. He could make his Everton debut in their opening Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
