The Presidency has invited Ghanaians to submit tributes in honour of the eight victims of the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash, ahead of a State Funeral scheduled for Friday, August 15, at Black Star Square in Accra.
In a statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson and Government Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Funeral Planning Committee urged individuals, institutions, and the public to send messages of condolence for inclusion in the official funeral brochure. Submissions should be emailed to tributes@presidency.gov.gh by Wednesday, August 13, at 12:00 p.m. GMT.
The State Funeral will commence at 8:00 a.m. to honour the departed, who are remembered for their courage, dedication, and service to Ghana. The August 6 tragedy has plunged the nation into mourning, with the Presidency calling on citizens to unite in paying a final, solemn tribute.
